Regarding good nurses
And skeptics of whom I’m a fan;
Without apprehension
I hurry to mention
A woman of note called Joanne.

A fierce nonsense-fighter
When armed with highlighter,
But also disarmingly sweet;
The nicest podcaster
And culinary master
That I have been privileged to meet.

Today’s celebration
Of Joanne’s creation
Should be a tremendous affair.
I hope it’s a fun day
I promise that one day
I’ll buy you that cocktail, I swear.
