It’s time to eat a piece of cake
And drink some posh champagne;
To make a toast for Maverick’s sake;
To go a bit insane.
To shout! To sing! To laugh! To dance!
To use a silly voice;
To eagerly remove your pants
And gleefully rejoice.
This special and auspicious date
Marks quite a special birth,
So HAPPY BERT DAY to a mate
Who brightens up the Earth.
